About Mike

Michael Wayne Carpenter was born in Chillicothe Missouri, December 16, 1944 and forced to live all over the country by his family, as a child.

Finally settling in San Diego, he was married and had two daughters. He worked as a cross country truck driver. That life was not conducive to a long range relationship. He lived in San Diego until 1977, then relocated to Colorado. He worked as an artist in the printing business for a little over a decade. In 1992 his daughter Tiffany was in a terrible car accident and was hospitalized for months. There he meet a nurse (an angel) who helped him cope with the emotional rollercoaster of having a brain injured child. Months later their lives were entangled again by the grace of God. In January of 1996 Mike married the love of his life, Suzanne E. Carpenter RN. She has been the best thing that has happened to him in the many long years of his life. Suzanne encouraged, excited, and motivated Mike into doing something that would encompass all of his life experiences, knowledge, and energy; something that would make a difference in peoples lives. In 1996, CVB was founded.

Mike has been active in his community in many aspects, he has been a volunteer firefighter, search and rescue skydiver, and ridden with Jeffco Mounted Search and Rescue. He is a senior member and  vice president of training with the PPIAC (Professional Private Investigators Association of Colorado), and has served on the board of directors for 3 years. He was in the Navy during Viet Nam, and is past Sr. Vice commander at the American Legion Post 178. He has also served on many other boards for our american veterans.

With his past experience and present enthusiasm Michael is ideally qualified to lead CVB Investigative Services. He knows the operations well and has been a leader in developing and executing key growth strategies. In addition, he has exhibited an enormous sensitivity to legal and ethical issues. He plays a key role in developing new controls and standards for many of CVBs investigative needs. We expect Mike to build on the achievements that he has accomplished, and to continue the success of this dynamic agency.

Mike is also an accomplished artist in his own right, his work has been shown in area galleries. Please look at the other pages to see some of his work.
